Video Marketing Trends for 2022 and Beyond
Video content has become a huge component of a lot of companies these days. According to this article by entrepreneur.com, “59% of marketers said that video marketing showed a positive ROI, and 58% plan to incorporate more videos into their marketing strategies in the future.”
As a video production and content strategy company, we’ve understood the power of video for more than a decade so seeing the popularity spread amongst mainstream audiences and corporations is refreshing. There are many ways to utilize video marketing to grow your brand and our services utilize many current trends to achieve our clients’ goals while attracting audiences on various platforms.
So what are these trends and how can you utilize them for yourself? Entrepreneur.com suggests that there are 3 ways to utilize video in 2022:
1. Going Mobile-first
2. Utilizing short-form videos
3. Investing in livestreaming
Audiences watch a lot of their content on their phone so you must be aware of how to create content for mobile in order to capture those eyeballs.
With the advent of TikTok and Reels, consumers are watching more bite-sized content in 15-30 second durations so think about how to tell your story and spread your message through short videos - don’t forget to record in the vertical/9:16 format!
Engage with your warm audience and attract cold prospects with livestreaming to either answer questions, teach valuable content, or host a virtual summit. From Youtube to Twitch to Instagram, livestreaming is available on most platforms and should be part of your marketing strategy.
Video is universal and global, though think about local audiences as well. We produce video content in Austin, Texas but also work with brands across the USA and world. What does your local audience like to watch and how can you also attract a national audience?
Be specific with your content as well and know your audience. We create video content for food & beverage, CPG, and Tech companies so we create content that audiences in those industries would watch so our clients get qualified leads and engaged customers.

Creative Haven's Promotional Video for Eastern Standard Provisions
One of our favorite videos we shot, directed, and edited for Eastern Standard Provisions that uses VFX in a creative way to sell a product 📹
We call this a product video or mini-commercial to show the product’s value propositions in a creative way. We wanted to capture the viewer’s attention in the first 5-seconds so we used VFX and Animation to stop someone from scrolling and then bring them into action-packed scenes with close-ups to give people a more intimate look into the product. 👀
The result was increased ROAS and engagement. Want to see how we can do this with your products? DM us or go to thecreativehaven.com to schedule a call with our team.😀

4 Ways To Win With Video Marketing
Did you know that you can attract more local customers by using highly targeted video content? 😉
Video marketing is a powerful tool and in this article by Search Engine Journal, they discuss why video marketing is effective and tips on how to attract more localized customers.
One idea is to create how-to or educational videos to solve problems that your customers are searching for. Have you ever searched on Youtube on how to cook a meal or fix your furniture? Your customers are doing the same but asking questions within your industry. Create videos around these questions and topics so you can become a thought leader in your industry and get customers to see you as the best solution to their problems.
Another idea is to create videos that highlight your products and how to use them. Most people search for videos about a product before making a purchase so creating content like explainer videos or walkthrough’s are a great way to get people to understand your product and drive a purchase.
