Do Everything and Anything

“Do everything and anything and always say ”yes”. So what I mean by that is that there’s no one way to make it in the writing or film business.”

This quote comes from episode 60 of our podcast with writer, producer, screenwriter instructor, podcaster, and founder of the production company, Little Nalu Pictures, Koji Steven Sakai. In it, he stresses the need for those starting out in the film and writing business to be involved in multiple valuable opportunities instead of spending time on one opportunity to grow a career.

Listen to this episode again as we discuss how he develops ideas for writing and the importance of diverse roles and storylines. He also shares how you should say yes to every opportunity, keep creating, and put in your best effort in any project you do to get started in the writing and film business.
